| so i recently obtain a tommy gun and i was thinking about turning it into a sniper rifle. if anyone has any sugguestion on how i could do this. please fell free to let me know your ideas.
here is what is what i was thinking. first thing i would need to do is get it upgraded to shot over four hundred and a tight bore barrel. maybe a longer inner barrel so i could put a longer outter barrel on it . last it was thinking a rail on top to mount a scope on it.
so again any input form you guys would be welcomed and appreciated

| If you decide to get a tightbore, get a Madbull 6.01 tightbore barrel. The one I got for my gun costed about $50 and its definitely improved my gun to dead on with the sight. | |

I second Madbull. I second Madbull but would go with a 6.03mm python. So you can retain some full auto capability without a bigger chance of jams. If you are truly turning it into a DMR then go with the 6.01mm. But I don't know even how effective a thompson DMR would be. That would be a long hard road and you would be better off buying Oldarmys or my SR25/12 rifles to upgrade for that.

| I got a promethius 6.01 in my MP5 and never had a jam on full auto (I use excel .20g). But I shoot in short bursts. I hear only good things about madbull though. I would also recommend something from the M4/M16 family for a DM riffle, check out Cadian and OldArmy's guns for sale. I just can't picture a "tommygun sniper". Good luck and keep us updated on this project | |
